Rotary kiln in Poland

At the beginning of March, a new customer contacted us, with whom we had not worked before. He needed urgent help with the lining of a rotary kiln for waste incineration in Poland.
The original lining, designed for the incineration of ordinary hospital waste, quickly failed due to the transition to a larger proportion of hazardous waste.
Together with my colleagues, we immediately started looking for a solution. Given the time pressure, we designed a refractory concrete lining with a fast delivery date - and above all with a material suitable for this type of incinerated waste.
From the first phone call on March 12th to the start of the installation on April 7th, everything went very quickly. After a personal meeting on March 17th, we submitted a quote within two days, agreed on cooperation, and on March 31st, our colleague from the design department was on site with welders to prepare the anchoring system.
In order to meet the time and quality requirements, we worked in shifts – day and night, except for the Easter holidays.
We are now finalizing the last details, including some work beyond the original scope of work – because we believe that true customer orientation will be shown mainly in difficult times.
In total, we installed:
– 13 tons of insulating shotcrete
– 44 tons of ULCC (Ultra-Low Cement Castable)
