boiler for RDF fuel

Year of realization: 2021

As part of our project in 2020, we had the opportunity to work with a customer on a project in Sweden to implement refractory linings for their RDF-burning boiler. This project was very interesting and important for us, because we had the opportunity to apply our skills and experience in the field of refractory materials.

The main objective of this project was to supply refractory linings for a boiler that burns RDF (fuel made from municipal sewage). This technology is becoming more and more popular because it enables the efficient use of waste material. Our liners have been designed to withstand the high temperatures and chemical effects of RDF combustion.

The total weight of the lining was 50 tons and consisted mainly of refractory concrete with a high SiC (silicon carbide) content. This material is known for its heat resistance and chemical resistance, which was key for this project.

The cooperation with our customer has been very successful and we are proud to have been part of this innovative project. Our refractory linings have contributed to trouble-free operation of the boiler and ensuring the sustainable use of waste material.

This project gave us another opportunity to expand our knowledge and skills in the field of refractory materials and confirmed our ability to provide quality and reliable solutions for our customers. We are happy to contribute to the development of modern technologies and a sustainable economy.
